Black Rose Hair Dyes

Black Rose’ Kali Mehandi : It is a henna based powder hair dye for coloring gray hair in black. It is India’s largest selling henna based powder hair dye. It is India’s first powder hair dye to be accredited with ‘ISI’ mark, which is a mark of quality issued by Govt. Inspection Agency. It has a very small content of chemical, which is less then 3% after dilution. Its color stays on hair for 20-25 days.

Cut the sachet and take out the powder in a plate / bowl. On opening the packet the powder can be greenish, brownish or blackish. Add water in it which should be approximately 3 times of powder. Make the paste so that it can easily and gently be applicable on hair.

2. Application

Apply this paste on hair with a brush. After five minutes comb the hair so that the paste should reach in the roots of hair. If the paste has not reached any area, apply some more hair dye paste on that portion. Wash the hair after 30 minutes. While washing the hair keep the eyes and mouth closed. 

3. Caution

This preparation should not be used for dyeing eyelashes or eyebrows as severe inflammation may result in blindness.

4. Sensitivity Test

For carrying out the test, clean a small area of skin behind the ear or upon the inner surface of forearm, using either soap and water or alcohol. Apply a small quantity of hair dye as prepared for use to the area and allow it to dry. After 24 hours, wash the area gently, if no irritation or inflammation is apparent, it may be assumed that no hypersensitivity to the dye exists. The test should however be carried out before each application.
